Lorenzo G. Lamonge
August 9, 2021 ~ September 19, 2025
**Lorenzo Gerald "Zoe" Lamonge, 4, of Valhalla, New York**
With hearts full of love and sorrow, we announce the passing of Lorenzo Gerald "Zoe" Lamonge on September 19, 2025, in Valhalla, New York. Born on August 9, 2021, in Newburgh, New York, Lorenzo brought four radiant years of joy and laughter to all who knew him.
Lorenzo was a bright light whose smile could brighten any room. His joyful spirit and generous heart were evident in the way he loved to share and offer sweet compliments-especially to his mommy, often saying with sincerity, "You look nice." His infectious laughter filled every space he entered, especially when he was playing with his siblings-scaring them just for fun and then bursting into giggles that made everyone around him laugh too.
He had a deep love for soccer and idolized Ronaldo. Whether practicing his soccer slide or kicking the ball around with boundless energy, Lorenzo was always in motion. He also enjoyed playing basketball and diving into imaginative adventures as Spider-Man. His Nintendo Switch was never far from reach-Fortnite being his favorite game to play alongside his daddy while sneakily eating all of his ramen noodles.
Lorenzo found pure delight in simple pleasures: eating pizza or savoring McDonald's plain vanilla ice cream in a cup. His favorite color was Orange ( which he thought it should be yours too!) He didn't mind wearing clothes, but once at home or Ma's house he immediately stripped down to his undies, but left his shoes on just in case he needed to run outside to play! He adored water in all its forms-splashing in lakes, digging in the sand at the beach, or enjoying long playtimes in the bathtub where his imagination ran wild.
He was deeply cherished by his mommy Alexis, daddy Steve, sister Laylah(lay) brother Zion(ziggy) and sister Lalune(Lu-Lu)He was also surrounded by the love of grandparents, great-grandparents, many aunts and uncles, and a ton of cousins who will forever hold him close in their hearts.
A child of Catholic faith, Lorenzo's short life was filled with love, laughter, and light a gift to everyone blessed to know him.
To honor Lorenzo's life, A Funeral Service will be held on September 26, 2025, from 02:00 PM to 07:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave Newburgh, NY. Following on September 27, 2025 a service at Brooks Funeral Home at 10am-10:30am.
Where he will then be laid to rest at Woodlawn Cemetery 93 Union Ave New Windsor, NY. Which will then be followed by a repast, which location will be provided at the funeral service.
Though his time with us was brief, Lorenzo's spirit leaves an everlasting imprint. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him and may his joyful soul rest in peace.
