Louis F. Magliato Sr.
December 27, 1939 ~ June 29, 2023
Louis Frank Magliato Senior or aka (Louie the Lug or Rocco) went to meet our heavenly father on June 29th 2023 in Newburgh, N.Y.
Louis was born on December 27,1939 in Elmont New York to Dominick and Grace Magliato. Although he had no siblings he was very close to his cousins and childhood friends with whom he had many adventures with including Jimmy Amedeo. After graduating business school he managed many businesses in New York City. He then later moved to upstate New York to follow his love for the country and horses. That's where he met Charlotte Snyder. He sold her his first car while working at Allbee Chevrolet and they were married in 1984.
In the early 1990s Lou started the Rock Cut Fence Company that became known as "quality with courtesy".After his son in law bought a motorcycle he discovered Iron horses and his passion for riding motorcycles began. He joined the OC Hogs, Outriders and occasionally rode with the Blue Knights. He went on the trip of a lifetime across western United States in 2008 with his friends Pete and MaryAnn on his Harley for 6 weeks.
Lou always had a way of making others feel special and welcome. He always made sure that no one went hungry. He made the best spaghetti sauce and cheesecake in the entire world.
Some of his famous lines were" Lets Ride", "Attack", "Crooked evenly" . In losing Louis we lost a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a best friend. He will be missed for his love, his laughter and making every single person feel included. He truly was one of a kind.
Louis is survived by his wife Charlotte Magliato, his daughters Kim Bogart, Sarah Allison and husband Steve Allison, his sons Dominick Magliato and wife Veronica Magliato and his son Louis Magliato Jr. and wife Alexandra Magliato. His Grandchildren include Michael and Grace Bogart, Stephen and Emily Allison, Nicholas Magliato, and Corey Magliato. His dog Junior will miss him dearly.
Services will be held at Brooks funeral home on Monday July 3rd from 2pm to 5pm. A special memorial and prayer will be held at 4:45 followed by cremation. In memory of Louis, please donate to a local veteran group of your choice. Thankyou to all that have supported our family during this difficult time.
