Louise A. Nahow

Louise Ann Nahow was born in Newburgh, NY on August 8, 1925 and passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 12, 2024 at the age of 98. Louise was predeceased by her loving husband Alexander, a WWII veteran to whom she was married for 67 years. She was also predeceased by her brother William Marotta Sr. and his wife Genevieve, sister Elizabeth Wayner and husband John.
Louise leaves behind her 6 children. Alexander Nahow and fiancé Kathy Seymour, Mike Nahow, Mark Nahow and his wife JoAnn, Rob Nahow and fiancé Donna Rocco, Denise Gray and her husband Richard, Steven Nahow and his wife Lisa.
Louise enjoyed spending time with her 13 beautiful grandchildren Alex Nahow, Pam Monica, Lori Abulencia, Michael Nahow, Rachael Zavodsky, Melissa Flannigan, Justin Nahow, Courtney Nahow, Jessica Nahow, Alexis Gray, Austin Gray, Steven Nahow, Nicole McDermott and her 12 Great Grandchildren.
Louise was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was an excellent seamstress and loved cooking, but spending time with the family made her the happiest.
Louise was deeply involved in her Catholic Faith and in her church.  She will be sadly missed by everyone.

Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh on Friday March 22, 2024 from 4PM to 8PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Mary's Church 42 Goshen Ave, Washingtonville, NY at 10AM on Saturday March 23, 2024. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise's memory can be given for church renovations to St. Mary's Catholic Church, 42 Goshen Avenue, Washingtonville, NY 10992. Please note on donation ~ In Memory of Louise Nahow ~ Attn: Kathy D.
