Luciano "Lucky" Casado, 53, of Newburgh entered rest Sunday, August 25, 2019. Lucky is the son of Luz (Mojica) Velez , the late Confesor Velez and the late Luciano Casado.Born in Puerto Rico on September 15, 1965; Luciano moved to New York as a child. He completed his schooling in Puerto Rico and New York. He worked as a Sprinkler Fitter for Local Union 669. Luciano lived his life to the fullest; spreading his love wherever he went. He was a great son, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend. He enjoyed fishing, grilling, gardening and spoiling his grandchildren. He was loved and will be sincerely missed.Luciano will be dearly missed by his loving wife Sylvia Casado, his 3 beautiful children Luz Janet Desrouilleres of Norwalk, CT; Zenia Casado of Mt. Vernon, NY, Marie Casado of Newburgh; brother Luis Casado of Spring Hill, FL; grandchildren Everly and Landon Desrouilleres; nieces and nephews Yasmin, Jonathan, Norielly Casado and Adam Torres.Visitation will be held 3-8 p.m. on Thursday, August 29 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. Newburgh, with a funeral home service at 7:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Luciano's memory to the American Heart Association. https://www.heart.org/
