Luis A. Negron

Luis A. Negron, who resided in Newburgh, NY, entered into eternal rest on September 13 at the age of 83.

He was born in Jayuya, Puerto Rico on August 26, 1941, and moved to Newburgh in 1963, where he lived until his passing. Luis was retired from Tarkett Industries and was a member of Teamsters Local 445.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Negron, of Orlando, FL, as well as two daughters, Yvette Lauterborn of Otisville, NY, and Jennifer Crenshaw of Orlando, FL. Luis is also survived by two grandchildren, Maya and Michael Crenshaw, and his sisters Margarita Negron and Aurea Negron of Puerto Rico, along with many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jose Negron and Maria Cruz, as well as sisters Angeles Negron, Gloria Negron, Julia Negron, and Ana Rosa Negron.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, September 17 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, NY.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, a charitable organization that was near and dear to his heart.
