Madline Herring
May 23, 1950 ~ December 9, 2025
Madline Herring was born May 23, 1950 in Garland, N.C., to the union of Elliott and Lizzie Karo Herring who predeceased her. She is the 10th of 17 children.
Madline grew up in Garland, NC.
Madline received her education from Elizabethtown School District.
Madline accepted the LORD Jesus Christ as her personal Savior in 1969 at 19 years of age. Following her conversion, she relocated to Newburgh, N.Y., area that same year. She joined in fellowship with Calvary Full Gospel Faith Center under Bishop Davic Mc Allister's stewardship.
Madine moved her membership in 1973 to Holy Nation Church of Deliverance in Newburgh, under the leadership of Pastor Minnie Jacobs who predeceased her. Madline would later accept the calling of Evangelist under Pastor Jacobs. Madline served faithfully and tirelessly in various capacities at Holy Nation Church.
Madline was a loving, compassionate, generous giver in deeds and in dispersing the word at God. She was one who encouraged others continually, she especially loved and endeared herself to the youths. Wherever there was a need, if Madline was aware of it, she would go to minister, responding with loving care.
Madline's earthly vocation and spiritual calling merged. She drove MCl coach buses and school buses for West Point Tours for 32 years until her health failed. This was a calling to service she truly enjoyed and treasured!
Madline was preceded in death by Willie Lee Herring of Germany, Roosevelt Herring, Pink Hill, NC, Arletha Mann, Jackson, TN, Boy Herring, Harvey Herring, Eddie Lee Herring, Pauline Herring, and Elizabeth Herring all of Garland, NC.
Madline leaves to cherish her memory: Audrey Green & Josephine Herring, Newburgh, NY, Rosa lee Herring, Garland, NC, Johnny Herring and Charlie Van Herring both of Garland, NC, Mary Allen, Clinton, NC, Brenda Herring, Garland, NC, Doris Williams, Orlando, FL, Lillian Herring, Clinton, NC, Rudolph Herring, Elizabethtown, NC, nieces, nephews, cousins and loving friends.
