Margo M. Bedetti of New Windsor, NY, passed away Friday March 28, 2025 at home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Newburgh, NY April 25, 1941. She was 83 years old. Margo was the daughter of the late Anna Sayles, raised by Bertha and George Mayo.

Her husband, Francis V. Bedetti, pre-deceased her on November 12, 2021. Margo and Francis married March 2, 1958 at Sacred Heart Church, Newburgh NY. She was a 1959 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. Margo was a lifelong cosmetologist and a teacher of cosmetology, teaching at Central Academy of Beauty Culture, New Windsor NY. Margo was a long-time employee of Rosenbaums in New Windsor, working in the jewelry department. This is where her love and passion for jewelry carried on. She also was a stay at home mother raising her five sons. Margo was a 30-year member of the Catholic Daughters of America, Court Patricia 195. Member of the Sacred Heart League, where she served as President for over 20 years. Member of the Sacred Heart Parish of Newburgh, New York. She spent many years working at the Italian Feast in Newburgh. Margo was also known as Mom and Grandma, who loved spending time with her family,

She is survived by her five children; Francis III and his wife Christine, Christopher and Gina, Alexander and Melissa, Stephen and his wife Amy and Keith and his wife Karen. Her grandchildren are Nick Bedetti, Gina Bedetti, Joe Bedetti, Dana Bedetti, Michael Illobre, Asia Noto, Ashley Perricone, Mandie Bedetti, Gabriella Bedetti, Kayden Bedetti and Krista Bedetti. Great grandchildren are Jayden, Christian, Vianna, Raina, Jase, Margaret, Carmine, Jake, Nora and James.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 1, 2025 at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave, from 4PM to 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held the following day April 2, 2025 at Sacred Heart Church 301 Ann Street at 10AM. Entombment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
