Marie Gagliano, long-time resident of Newburgh, NY and Poughkeepsie, NY, passed away on August 7, 2026 at the age of 97 after a short illness.
She is survived by nephews and nieces Ralph Merola (Jacqueline Goewey), Rose Merola, Joseph Gagliano, and Marianne Merola, grand-nephew Enzo Merola and grand-nieces Eleana Merola and Alicia Gagliano, and best friend Jo DiMiceli.
Family and friends meant everything to her. She will be greatly missed.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her name can be made to the American Cancer Society.
A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday, August 13th at 11am at Sacred Heart Church. Inurnment will follow at Calvary Cemetery.
