Marion A. Perna

December 21, 1938 ~ April 8, 2026

Marion Perna, age 87, of New Windsor, New York, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026. She was born on December 21, 1938.

 Marion was a lifelong resident of the area and a proud graduate of Newburgh Free Academy. She dedicated 59 years of service as Assistant Assessor at City Hall in Newburgh, New York, a role she carried out with commitment and pride. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and her grandchildren, who were the light of her life. 

She was predeceased by her husband, Salvatore N. Loguidice; her son, Eric “Ricky” Perna; her brothers, William McGrath III and James McGrath; and her parents, Helen and William McGrath II.

Marion is survived by her loving siblings: Patricia Ponessa and her husband, George, of Ocala, Florida; Donna Bartlet of Monticello, New York; and Bertrum McGrath of Cocoa Beach, Florida. She is also survived by her daughter-in-law, Cathleen Perna of New Windsor, New York; and Dawn Loguidice Del Santo and her husband, Eric, of the Town of Newburgh. She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren: Vianna Perna, Natalia Perna, and Adrianna Perna, all of New Windsor, New York, and step-granddaughter Brianna Hensley of Rockland County, along with several nieces and nephews. 

Family and friends are invited to attend services on April 27 at 11:30 a.m. at Cedar Hill Cemetery & Mausoleum, 5468 US-9W, Newburgh, New York. 

Marion will be remembered for her love of family, her warm spirit, and the dedication she showed throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
