Marleah Joyce Maneely

Mrs. Marleah Joyce "Nancy" Maneely (née Morrison), 84, passed away peacefully on May 26, 2026, in Goshen, New York. Born on September 17, 1941, in Newburgh, New York, she was the cherished daughter of the late David Morrison and Anna Cirillo Morrison.

Marleah dedicated her professional life to the Postal Service in Newburgh, where she worked diligently until her retirement. Her commitment to her work was matched only by her devotion to her family. A loving mother of four, grandmother of seven, and great-grandmother of four, Marleah's legacy is deeply rooted in the love and care she shared with her family.

She is survived by her children: Carol Post and her husband Richard; Susan Martinez and her husband Martin; and Michael Maneely. She is also survived by her brother Patric Morrison and his wife Sandy. Marleah was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael "Mickey" Maneely; her daughter Lori Emanuele; and her grandson Martin Martinez.

Marleah's memory will be forever cherished by those who knew and loved her. May her legacy of love and dedication bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.

"Along with her love for family, Marleah was very passionate about her cats, reading James Patterson books and chocolate. The family enjoyed Marleah's special recipes like pasta fagioli and her special chocolate cake. Marleah made a tradition of bringing her grandchildren to the movies on their birthday every year. This is a memory they all share. Marleah's famous saying was, "You always have room for dessert."

She will be missed dearly by all who loved her.

Visitation will be held on May 31, 2026, from 02:00 PM to 05:00 PM at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Avenue.

A funeral will be held on June 1, 2026, at 11:00 AM at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Avenue.

A burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery located at 304 Walsh Ave, New Windsor, NY.

Marleah supported St. Jude's Children's Hospital. Memorial contributions may be sent to them. The family would like to thank Valley View Nursing Home in Goshen for their excellent care of Marleah during her stay and her final moments.
