Martha Martin, of Ulster Park, NY, entered into rest on Monday December 29, 2014. She was 79 years old. Daughter of the late Peter Valentine and Valeria (Ludwiczewski) Murawski, she was born February 9, 1935 in NY, NY. She married the late Louis E. Martin, Jr. on June 5, 1954 in St. Gregory's Church in Brooklyn, NY. Martha was retired as a Supervisor for the NYC Library of the Blind and Handicapped. She loved to play Bingo, enjoyed going to the casinos, traveling when her health permitted and spending time with her family and friends including four legged feline and canine furbabies! She was a Communicate of Presentation Church, Port Ewen, NY and the Town of Ulster Seniors. Survivors include her daughters, Deborah Ann Michaud of Sugar Loaf, NY; Donna Marie Martin of Kingston, NY; Diana Kelly of Clemmons SC and Denise Mallios & husband Harry of Flushing, NY; son-in-law, Leonard Williams of Belford, NJ; siblings, Valeria Polny, Williamstown, NJ; Helen (Liz) Donovan, Williamstown, NJ; Peter Murawski and wife Mary, Williston Park, NY and Helene Perna, Woodmere, NY; grandchildren, Cynthia and husband Michael Mas, Hopewell Junction, NY, Kenneth McCallion, Middletown, NY, Lori and husband Alejandro Valle, Kingston, NY, Nicholas Jaeger, Carmel, NY, Alexandra Williams and Christopher Williams, Belford, NJ, Luke and wife Marlena Ambrose, Queens, NY, and Nicholas Mallios and Kevianna Mallios, Flushing, NY; great-grandchild, Cydella Coddington, Middletown, NY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband Louis, she was predeceased by her daughter, Dawn Williams. A Memorial Mass will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2015 at 10am at Presentation Church, Port Ewen, NY. Interment will be in Cypress Hills Cemetery, Brooklyn, NY at the convenience of family. In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations can be made to the Ulster County SPCA, 20 Wiedy Road, Kingston, NY 12401.
