Mary Helen Roberts

Mary Helen Roberts, 80, of Wallkill, NY, passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2023 surrounded by her family.
She was born on July 26, 1942 in Cornwall, NY.
Mary started her career initially as a bookkeeper, she was also part owner of the restaurant Nana's Place in Newburgh with friends Nancy Pacella and Gale Stagg and was an active member of the Town of Newburgh Ambulance Corp for many years.
Her lifelong love of animals brought many pets into the family and she will be dearly missed by her Pomeranians, Callie and Riley. Mary loved all her time spent with family and friends. Her favorite pastime was playing the slots, and she took many trips to the casinos.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, John Roberts; children, Stacey Lloyd and fiancé Steve Annacone, Wendy Melick, Thomas Roberts and girlfriend Carolyn (Suzi) Vinson; grandchildren Jenna Lloyd, Shannon Melick, and David Melick; great grandchildren Marleigh Eggelton and Dominic DeSantis; nieces Jill Leuck and Amy Cramer; nephew Alan Tischbein; and several great nieces and great nephews.
In addition to her parents James and Margaret Arnott, Mary was predeceased by her sister Janet Tischbein and grandson Charles (CJ) Eggelton.
Services will be private, at the convenience of the family.
