Masako Depace

Masako Depace, a longtime resident of Walden, New York, passed away peacefully at her family's home on May 20, 2025. She was born on March 21, 1932.

On December 5, 1957, Masako married Samuel Lamont Depace at the American Embassy in Tokyo, Japan. Their union marked the beginning of a life shared across cultures and continents. Samuel preceded her in death.

Masako worked as a factory employee during her career, contributing with dedication and resilience.

Her life was centered around hard work and devotion to her family.

She is lovingly remembered by her grandchildren: Brooke Edwards, Carly Burger, Daniel Burger, Britany Edwards, Leia Edwards, and John Zgrodek. Her legacy continues through her great-grandchildren: Christina Zgrodek; Madison and Greyson Simpson; Hayden Coppa; Lucas, Hunter, Zachary, and Kenzie Burger.

Masako's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May her life be honored through the generations she helped shape.
