Matthew A. Irene

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Matthew Anthony Irene. A cherished individual who left us on October 13, 2024 at the age of 38 years old.

He was born on March 8, 1986 and was known for his strong will and love for his family. He lived his life the best he knew.
He was a man of free will and free spirit. His unwavering spirit will forever be remembered.

He is survived by his mother Lucia DiCresce, and preceded in death by his father, Martin Irene. He is also survived by his brother, Michael; children: Makayla, Giovanna, Aaliyah, Amaya and Matthew Jr.; his nephew, Levi Martin; long time companions, Sasha Alston, Lisa Andriuolo; and sister-in-law Renee; along with many cousins, aunts and uncles, who will continue to honor his legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Sunday, October 20 from 3 - 6 PM. A funeral home service will take place on Monday, October 21 at 10 AM, followed by burial at Calvary Cemetery.
