Maureen Greco of Newburgh, NY passed away peacefully at home with her children, grandchildren,and beloved brother James at her side on Monday, May 8, 2023. She was the daughter of the lateHelen (Pitcher) O'Hara and James P. O'Hara, born on April 26, 1940, in Brooklyn, NY.
Maureen, a local businesswoman, worked along with her son, Brian at BC & N Carpet for 25 years.Upon her retirement, she went on to enjoy her time with her family and friends in both Newburghand Florida. Maureen was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.She had a special relationship with each of her grandchildren, Mom loved animals and was an avid fanof NASCAR.
Survivors include her children, John McCutcheon, Brian McCutcheon, and Lisa LaGrotta; grandchildren,Nicole McCutcheon (Oscar Hernandez), Mike McCutcheon (Katie Hanlon), Robert McCutcheon,Cameron McCutcheon (Allison Meredith), Jade McCutcheon, Melissa LaGrotta, and Freddie LaGrotta;great-grandchildren Sienna and Max Hernandez; siblings, James O'Hara, Sharon Iudica, PatriciaCoakley, and Emil Roggendorf; along with beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her furbabies, Jake and Buddy. She was predeceased by her brother, Thomas "Bobby" O'Hara; and her son,Harvey Dennison and his wife, Maryellen.
We would like to give a special thanks to the nurses at St. Luke's 5th floor, Anne and Emily, for the careand kindness shown toward our mother.

Memorial Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Monday, May 15 from 4 - 7 PM. A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, May 16 at 11 AM at Calvary Cemetery.
