Milagros Dolores "D" Lopez, 57 years old, entered into rest on November 7, 2020. She moved to Newburgh NY at 10 years old and graduated from NFA in 1981. She worked for the Newburgh Enlarged City School District for over 35 years; YScoop (YMCA) for over 10 years.
Survived by her daughter Miangelica "Mia" Duncan-Rivera and her wife Mira Duncan-Rivera. Her son Jordan Gambles. Her three granddaughters Tatiana Santiago, Thalia Santiago and Ziya Jordyn Gambles. One grandson Khalib Duncan-Rivera and a great grandson on the way. Her mother Milagros Lopez and her two sisters Donna Lopez and Veronica Lopez and her husband Charlie Ortiz. Four nieces Sarah Ortiz, Chelsea Lopez (Goddaughter), Brittney Ortiz and Veronica "Emmy" Ortiz. Her "fur-son" JAG. She was predeceased by her father Dohamed Lopez
Milagros " Dolores" was known for her infectious smile that would light up any room. She was truly the life of any party. Milagros "Dolores" was a very caring loving individual that always went above and beyond for those in need. She was full of life and loved spending every moment with her grandchildren. If you had a chance to know her even if it was for a short period of time she is definitely one that made an impact on your life. She was truly one of a kind and will be missed.
