Myron R. Wunders

Myron Wunders was a man who was loved by all who knew him.  Those who have had the pleasure of meeting Myron were always greeted by his large smile, huge heart and eagerness to be part of his community. Myron was an active member at his church and was often referred to as the Mayor since he knew everyone and everyone knew and loved him.  His hobbies included making art and sharing his masterpieces with friends, family and peers.  Western movies, church functions and spending time with loved ones fulfilled Myron and brought much happiness to his life.   He was fond of spending time with his friends, Frances and Angelo, and enjoyed many happy years with his caregiver, Ms. Althea Harris, and at the end of his life, Ms.Jackie Gordon.

Myron will be missed by many and will be remembered in the hearts of those who knew him.

Myron is survived by his sisters Gloria Anderson, Darlene Clemente (husband Tommy), Maude Howey, Dorothy Wunders; brothers – Joseph Wunders and JR Wunders, several nieces, nephews great nieces and great nephews.  He is predeceased by his mother, Eleanor Wunders, father, John Wunders; sisters Shirley Schmick, Viola Tompkins, Betty Wunders, Mary Predmore, Debbie Wunders; brothers – Thomas Wunders, John Wunders and Brother-in-Law John Howey.

Visitation will be held on Friday September 19th at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh from 10AM to 10:30AM. A graveside service will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery at 11AM.
