Nancy E. Pagano

December 30, 1935 ~ July 24, 2024

Nancy E. Pagano of New Windsor, NY passed away on Wednesday, July 24, 2024.  She was 88.

The daughter of the late Otto and Elizabeth Nyari, Nancy was born on December 30,1935 in Flushing, NY.  She was married to the love of her life, John J. Pagano, for 34 years.

Nancy had a beautiful, infectious smile that made every room shine. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend that anyone could hope for.  Her absence leaves a void that can never be filled but a legacy that will live on through the countless lives that she touched.

Nancy enjoyed spending time with her friends, who she often referred to as the 'Wednesday Lunch Bunch,' and her family, who adored her.  For over 40 years, she worked as a top-ranked sales associate of Sears in Newburgh, NY.

Nancy will always be remembered by her beloved daughter, Cathy Ives and her husband Bill of New Windsor, NY; her son, John R. Pagano and his wife Patricia of Stony Point, NY; her granddaughters, Nicole and Vanessa Pagano of Stony Point, NY; her brother, Bob Nyari and her niece, Mervana Foremski of Sebastopol, CA.

Nancy's family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to her primary caregiver, Loretta Decker, for her loving, dedicated, and compassionate care and to Roseanne Piaquadio, who both helped make the darkest of days a little brighter.

A private burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery on Thursday, August 1, 2024.
