Nellie Ferrante, 90, a longtime resident of Plattekill, NY, entered into God's care on
Saturday October 18, 2025.

She was born on January 19, 1935, and lived a full life filled with joy and laughter. She was
kind, loving and caring, and loved to be with her family.

She was raised in the Bronx, NY, and moved to Plattekill in 1966 to raise her family.

She is pre-deceased by her loving husband, Dominick Sr., and her parents Rosa and
Carlos, and brothers Charlie, Herman, and Hugo.

She is survived by her beloved children and grandchildren: daughter Theresa Mendello
(Mike), son Dominick Jr. (Carol), grandson Dominick III, and granddaughter Christa Mayorga
(Andrew), and her loyal companion, Fluffy (PeePop), who brought her immense joy and
love. She is also survived by many sister's and brother's in law, nieces and nephews, and
cousins.

Throughout her career, Nellie was an avid bookkeeper for multiple businesses. She loved to
go on vacation with her family and seeing new places. Yet just as important, she loved
staying home with her family, eating together, and beating everyone at Dominoes, her
favorite game.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd, from 2pm - 4pm, and then again from 6pm - 8pm at Brooks Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 23rd, at Our Lady of Fatima church at 11am. Burial will follow at Modena Rural Cemetery, in Modena, NY.
