Pamela P. Pitsinos
December 12, 1948 ~ April 8, 2025
Pamela Phillips Pitsinos, 76, entered eternal rest at home in Newburgh, NY on Tuesday, April 8th. Born on December 12th, 1948 in Olive Hill, Kentucky to Wylie and Hazel Phillips, she graduated from Morehead State University where she received a degree in Political Science and developed her strong belief in public service and social equality.
While working in Louisville, KY, she met her husband, Pano Pitsinos. They resided in Manhattan before relocating to be closer to family in Newburgh, where they raised their three children. Pamela worked for the Orange County government before retiring.
She was deeply committed to her faith and to her community within the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. She had wonderful taste in music and literature, and was a self-proclaimed connoisseur of the BBC murder mystery collection. She had a razor-sharp wit, an omniscient perceptiveness, and a signature laugh that could light up any room. Family came first and she was overjoyed when she became a grandmother, showering the next generation with unconditional love.

She is predeceased by her parents, Wylie and Hazel; her brother, Bobby; her in-laws, Nicholas and Athena; and her sister-in-law Catherine.
Family, friends, neighbors, acquaintances and more are invited to Brooks Funeral Home at 481 Gidney Avenue in Newburgh, NY from 4PM - 7PM on Monday, April 14th to reminisce and honor the life of Pamela. Funeral Services will begin at 10AM on Tuesday, April 15th at St. Nicholas church.
