Patricia Ann "Paddy" Koster, of Newburgh, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 in St. Luke's Hospital, Newburgh. She was 79. Daughter of the late William and Agnes (Tully) Moore, she was born October 13, 1933 in Tarrytown, NY. She was married to the late Robert Koster, who predeceased her in 1979. Patricia will be remembered as a proud Irish woman and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is survived by her three daughters, Sherri Robinson and her husband John of Newburgh, Gail Kirk and her husband Mike of Carmel, and Michele Verhovnik and her husband Justin of Virginia Beach, VA; her brother, William A. Moore of Croton Falls, NY; three grandchildren, Tara Buyl and her husband Mike of Wallkill, NY, and Brian and Lindsay Kirk of Carmel, NY; one great-grandchild, Devon Buyl; nephew William Moore of Falls Church, VA, and niece Dawn Milne of South Salem, NY. Visitation will be held from 5-8 pm on Thursday, October 18 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 am on Friday, October 19 in St. Joseph's Church, New Windsor, with burial following in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Hawthorne, NY.
