Patricia N. Stewart of New Windsor, NY Patricia N. "Pat" Stewart passed away peacefully on Saturday May 19, 2018 at the Danbury Hospital. The daughter of the late Theodore and Leone Greenwood, she was born March 18, 1940 in Newburgh, NY. A 1958 graduate of the Newburgh Free Academy, she worked as a print media model and also worked for the Evening News as a secretary. She was a life-long resident of the Newburgh area. Pat was an avid reader who enjoyed doing puzzles and vacationing at the beach. She took great pride in her children and loved to attend their athletic events and musical concerts. She was a member of the Chelsea Yacht club. Patricia was an animal lover and often donated to the humane society for animals. She was a proud supporter of St. Jude foundation and survived a bout with breast cancer in 2005. She was a devoted housewife and mother whose greatest joys in life were her children and grandchildren. She is survived by three children and three grandchildren: Mark Stewart of Walden, NY and his wife Susan and son Connor, Susan Morris-Lizzo of Fishkill, NY and husband Nicholas Lizzo and daughter Jacqueline Morris as well as Heather Freilich of Newburgh, NY and her partner, Steve Wagner and son Robert Edge and his partner Siobhan Schell, of Newburgh, NY. Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm on Wednesday, May 23 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass will be held at 10 am on Thursday, May 24 at St. Patrick's Church, Newburgh, with entombment following in Cedar Hill Mausoleum. Newburgh.
