Paul P. Sagala Sr.

June 29, 1948 ~ December 19, 2025

Paul P. Sagala Sr. of Beacon, N.Y. passed away at age 77 on Friday December 19, 2025.

Born in 1948 and raised in Haverstraw, N.Y. He was one of seven children to Margaret and Michael Sagala.

He was a graduate of Rockland County Carpenters Union Apprenticeship.  He worked his entire life as a union carpenter. He loved to fish and hunt. He was an avid outdoorsman.

He is survived by his daughter Charlotte Talbot (Sagala) and husband Bryan, his son Paul Sagala Jr. and wife Gabrielle, his son David Sagala. He has several grandchildren; Carly, Colin, Bryan Michael, Alexis, Samantha, Isabella, and Arianna.

He was predeceased by his parents Margaret and Michael Sagala, his siblings Mickey, Fr. James, and Robert Sagala. He is survived by siblings Maryann McDonough of StonyPoint, Margaret Mary Sagala-Rivera of Monroe, and Richard Sagala of Palm Coast, Florida.

A visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd  from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Brooks Funeral Home located at 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550.

A Mass of the Christian burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church at 10:00am on Tuesday, December 23rd located at 301 Ann St, Newburgh, NY 12550.

A burial  follow at Woodlawn Cemetery located at 93 Union Ave, New Windsor, NY 12553.
