Obituary

Philip Consorti Jr. a lifelong resident of Newburgh, NY, entered into rest on Monday, February 22, 2016 at Kaplan Family Hospice Residence. He was 87 years old. The son of the late Philip and Emidia (Massetti) Consorti, he was born on August 26, 1928 in Staten Island, NY. He was a member of Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh, Pasttime Athletic Club, D' Agostino Marching Band, Town of Newburgh Little League, Otterkill Country Club, Fashion Industry Cloak and Suit Association, Northeast Regional Director of the 21 Club. Philip was the President and Owner of Brookmay Apparel Mfg. of Newburgh and a Sales Consultant for Consorti Bros. Paving of Newburgh. Philip died peacefully surrounded by his family! His loving children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. They were the pride and joy of his life. He especially enjoyed his Sunday dinners with the family which consisted of Italian food. Philip was an avid New York Yankee fan and sports enthusiast. You would always find him bowling, sitting at a poker game or watching his grandchildren at various sports events with friends and family. He was deeply loved by all and his legacy will live on. Philip is survived by his loving children: Philip S. and his wife Tina Consorti, Alexander and his wife Michelle Consorti, Eileen Consorti, Joseph and his wife Kimberly Consorti all of Newburgh, Matthew Consorti of Marlboro, Jennifer Calister and her husband Frank of Beacon; his siblings: Madeline Ladeuix and Diana Consorti both of Marlboro; grandchildren: Alexander J. and his wife Sharonrose Consorti, Philip P. Consorti, Brittany Consorti, Jaclynn Consorti, Rebecca Consorti, and Joseph Consorti, all of Newburgh, Gianni Calister of Beacon, Samantha Consorti of Marlboro, Matthew (MJ) Consorti of Marlboro, Alana Calister of Beacon, Hunter and his wife Dawn Rich of TN, Dana Arnold and her husband Kelly of Marlboro; great grandchildren: Jordin Arnold and Gabriella Arnold of Marlboro and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his sister Mary Fratto of Newburgh. Visitation will be held from 2 - 4pm and 6-8pm on Thursday, February 25 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 26 at 11am at Sacred Heart Church in Newburgh. Entombment will take place at Cedar Hill Mausoleum, Newburgh.
