Phyllis Brem, 71, of Walden, New York, formerly of Newburgh, New York, and Fort Myers, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Phyllis (Dapolito) was born on July 28, 1954, in Manhattan, New York, to Sally Becker and Joseph Dapolito. She later moved with her family to Wallkill, New York, where she grew up and graduated from high school.

Phyllis is survived by her devoted husband, John Brem, of Walden, New York. Together they shared a life in Newburgh, New York, Fort Myers, Florida, and most recently Walden, New York.

She is also lovingly remembered by her sons, Joseph (Connie) Perez and Keith Perez; her cherished grandchildren, Joseph Perez, Ella Perez and her niece Alayna Bordone who brought her immeasurable joy; her sisters, Charlotte (Anthony) Yacovino and Sally Russo; her brother, Salvatore (Kellyann) Bordone; as well as several beloved nieces, a nephew, and many dear friends whose lives she touched with her kindness and warmth.

Phyllis was predeceased by her parents, Sally Martino and Joseph Dapolito.

Phyllis will be remembered for her loving heart, her devotion to her family, and the lasting memories she created with all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A Memorial Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 1 from 4 pm to 7 pm. A Prayer service will be held on Wednesday July 1st at 6:30 pm.
