Pierre Paul Belle Jr.

Pierre "Pete" Belle of New Windsor, New York, passed away on May 12, 2025, at the age of 93. Born on May 18, 1931, in New Jersey, he led a remarkable and multifaceted life marked by dedication, innovation, and service.

In August 1956, Pierre married Marilyn Joan Garzone. Together they raised two children: Pierre Paul Belle III and Marilyn Belle. His family continued to grow with grandchildren Keith Schultz, Nicole Schultz, Pierre Paul Belle IV and his wife Lauren Belle, and Tracie Belle and her husband Alphonse Langone III. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Naveah Caldwell Schultz, Nicholas Belle, Lilliana Belle, Amelia Langone, and Alphonse Langone IV. He is also remembered by his niece Joan Herschel.

Pierre earned a bachelor's degree in Tennessee and pursued a wide-ranging career that reflected his diverse talents and interests. He worked as a chemist and was also the founder of Belle catering. He served honorably as a veteran of the U.S. Army and held roles as an inventor and lifeguard among many others. His curiosity and drive led him to explore numerous paths throughout his life.

A funeral Mass will be held on June 3 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Mary Church in Washingtonville.

Mr. Belle's legacy lives on through the generations of his family and the many lives he touched through his varied pursuits. May his memory bring comfort to those who knew him.
