Ralph J. Scott

Ralph "Poppy" Joseph Scott was called to Heaven on May 2, 2024 peacefully at his home in Newburgh, NY.

He was born on May 25, 1934 to Lillian & Adrian Scott. Ralph, to all who knew him, was always a care-free and loving man. He was a devoted Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great Grandfather.

He married Patricia Scott on September 20th, 1957 and raised two children in Newburgh, NY.

He is predeceased by his mother and father, Lillian and Adrian Scott; his 8 brothers and 1 sister; his wife, Patricia Scott; and son-in-law, Scott Duffie.

He is survived by his daughter, Brenda Scott; son, Ralph Scott and his wife Ann Marie Scott; his brother-in-law, Kenneth DeGroat and his partner Debbie Bruckner; his caregiver, Kim Cannon who was like a second daughter to him; h is grandchildren, Jenafer Fitzpatrick and husband, Christopher, Cory Duffie and wife, Danielle, Ryan Scott, Jason Scott, and Sean Scott; and h is great grandchildren, Aubrey and Cole Fitzpatrick, Adalyn Scott, Kyle and Kaden Scott, and Grayson Scott.

He dedicated many years working at Tarket and Colandrea GMC where he always had a smile on his face.

Ralph could be found watching game shows and Mecum in his recliner enjoying his favorite butter pecan ice cream with his fur buddy, Hinson.

Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in his name to the ASPCA in New Windsor, NY.

He will forever be in our hearts and will be missed dearly, but is now reunited with the love of his life, Patricia, in Heaven.

Heaven has gained another angel.
