On Thursday, March 12th, 2026, Raul Caltenco Peláez passed away peacefully in Easton, Pennsylvania due to a brain injury. Raul was 63 years old.
Raul was born on April 15th, 1962, in Mexico City, Mexico to Rodolfo Caltenco Jácome and Irene Peláez Cabrera.
He was raised in Beacon, New York where he attended Rombout Jr. High Middle School, Beacon High School and SUNY Binghamton where he graduated class of 1987. On August 2nd, 2024, Raul married Maria Valerio.
Raul is survived by his Children from former spouse, Raul Esteban Caltenco, Maria Fernanda Caltenco, Selena Caltenco, Along with children from current Spouse, Ricardo Caltenco and Maximiliano Caltenco.
He is survived by his Grandkids Damian Alexis Varela, Kyrie Luis Varela, and Nico Rogelio Varela.
He is survived by his Nieces & Nephews Gino Guevara,Jorge Caltenco, Sean Wesley Taylor, Cristian Wesley Taylor, Xavier Caltenco, Rubí Caltenco, Esmeralda Caltenco, Susan Caltenco, Carlos Juan Caltenco, Jasmine Caltenco, Alejandro Caltenco, Jorge Caltenco , Enrique Caltenco Jr., VictorManuel Caltenco, Veronica Caltenco, Miguelangel Caltenco, Angelica Maria Vega, Beatriz Elena Vega, Mayra Alejandra Vega, Luis Angel Vega, Claudia Guadalupe Vega, Yahaira Caltenco Vega, Irenis Caltenco Vega, Keila Caltenco Vega.
He is survived by his siblings Rodolfo Caltenco Peláez, Laura Caltenco Peláez (Laura Caltenco de Taylor), Javier Caltenco Peláez, José Armando Caltenco Peláez, José Enrique Caltenco Peláez, José Luis Caltenco Peláez, Blanca Estela Caltenco Peláez de jayer, and María pilar Sanchez.
He is survived by his mother, Irene Peláez Cabrera.
Raul Loved to spend time outside hanging out with friends and family. He had a strong passion for soccer, music and dancing. He loved his job as a truck driver working alongside his best friends, as well as delivering oversize loads to JFK airport.
Most of all, Raul had a great heart. He was known for helping others everywhere he went and for being a great and loving father to all. He would always choose to help those in need despite how tired he might be. Raul always worked hard with integrity, discipline and strength. It is even said that Raul always had a smile on his face.
Visitation will take place on Wednesday March 18, 2026 at Brooks Funeral Home 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh from 4PM to 7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Thursday March 19 at St. Patrick's Church. Burial will follow in St. Joachims Cemetery, Beacon.
