Richard "Red" Pavlik Sr. of New Windsor entered into rest peacefully surrounded by his children on Sunday July 23,2023.

"Red" was born on December 20, 1933, to Mary Adamborska Pavlik and Anthony Pavlik Sr. in Newburgh. He is predeceased by his wife of 64 years Frances McDavid Pavlik, Sisters Elizabeth "Betty" Bardin, Dorothy "Dottie" Valentine and Brother Anthony "Butch" Pavlik.
He is survived by his children Jane and George Czinkota, Rich Pavlik, Mark Pavlik and Emilia Paonessa, Jim Pavlik and Shari Green. Grand Daughter Alison Czinkota and Brian Paragas, Grand Son's Alex Czinkota and Tyler Pavlik.

Upon graduating from Newburgh Free Academy in 1953, he enlisted in to the United States Navy. He was assigned to the USS Monrovia, where he was trained in Welding, Electrical and Plumbing. He received an honorable discharge from the Navy and was hired by Favino Mechanical in Newburgh, NY. He was a member of Local# 373, Plumbers and Steamfitters local. He was employed with Favino Mechanical until his retirement.

Red loved spending his time Fishing, Playing Pickleball, Basketball and any sporting activity he could join. He volunteered in multiple activities both in Florida and New Windsor. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to all his family, friends and even people he didn't know. He will be sadly missed by all.

A memorial visitation will take place at Brooks Funeral Home on Thursday, July 27 from 4 - 7 PM. A memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Francis Church on Friday, July 28 at 10 AM, followed by a graveside service at St. Francis Cemetery.
