Richard William Kress

Richard William Kress, 61, of Newburgh, NY, entered eternal rest on November 2, 2025. Born on May 23, 1964, at the U.S. Airforce Base in Bitburg, Germany, he was the son of the late Wilma Kress and Lester "Ray" Kress.

Richard "Rick", described by loved ones and friends as adventurous and funny, was a long time resident of Newburgh, NY where he raised a family and made a living as a mechanic and freight transporter.

Richard is survived by his daughter Chelsea Lowery, her husband Martin, and his son Logan Kress, all of Wallkill, NY, his sister Deborah Cottini and her husband Venturino, of Plattekill, NY, and his niece Larissa Taylor and husband John, of Newburgh, NY. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Services will be private at the request of the family.
