Richard Shader
January 15, 1953 ~ April 25, 2023
Richard Shader passed away in the comfort of his home with his wife by his side on the morning of April 25. He was 70 years old.
Richard was born on January 15, 1953 to Howard and Norma Shader in Cornwall, NY. He worked at Concept Packing in Newburgh for twenty years as a mechanic and fabricator. He proudly served in the United States Army and Air Force. He loved all things outdoors, Rich found his greatest joys from spending time fishing, hunting, and camping.
Richard is survived by his loving wife, Dawn; his siblings, Bill Shader (Rosemary), Beverly Cox, and Donna Wilson (Sonny); his children, Jason Shader (Stephanie), Kevin Shader (Sabrina), Michelle Shader, Melinda Olympia (Bill), Richie Shader (Rachel), Madison Shader; and his grandchildren, Alex, Mylah, Kiera, Camryn, Carter, and Mayson. He was predeceased by his parents, Howard and Norma Shader, and his granddaughter, Nicolina.
Calling hours will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Sunday, April 30 from 2 - 5 PM, with Military Honors at 4:30 PM.
