Roberta J Brock, Bobbie to her friends, age 76; passed away December 20, 2021 due to complications with congestive heart failure. She was born April 14, 1945 in Highland Falls New York to Eleanor and Robert Lanning. In November 1963, she eloped and married her longtime love, Larry Brock Sr., who predeceased her in 2004.
Bobbie worked various jobs throughout her life. In the mid-1990s, she finished her working life and retired when the retail store that she managed, Book & Record in Vails Gate, NY.
Bobbie was a kind and gentle person who loved spending time with family and friends. She was a person of faith and lived life serving others.
Bobbie is survived by her son Larry Jr., Sister Dorothy Speedling, brother-in-law Jack Speedling and her many nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved and touched deeply.
A graveside funeral service will be held at Calvary Cemetery on December 28, 2021 at noon.
