Rosemarie Ann Iuzzini-Lionato, 86, a 73-year resident of the area, entered into rest on Tuesday,September 7, 2021. The daughter of the late Richard and Josephine (DiPaolo) Inglima, she was born in Brooklyn, NY.
Rosemarie moved to Newburgh when she was 13 years old. She attended Newburgh City Schools. She was employed by the New York Telephone Company. She married Louis P. Iuzzini and had 3 children. She loved to cook and travel. She remarried in 1997 to John Lionato. She retired from AT&T and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children: Joanne Levine & spouse Alan of Port Charlotte, FL, and John Iuzzini and Louis M. Iuzzini, both of Newburgh, NY; her sisters: Elizabeth Moglia of Highland, NY, Phyllis Lake of Wappinger Falls, NY and Barbara Rounds of Marlboro, NY; grandchildren: Tara Bailey & fiancé Jourdan Harris of Brewster, NY, John J. Iuzzini & spouse Rebecca of Walden, NY, Lianna Iuzzini of Marlboro, NY, Gina Iuzzini ofNewburgh, NY and Anthony Iuzzini of Orlando, FL; and great-grandchildren: Elijah and Roman Iuzzini of Walden, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Louis P. Iuzzini in 1977, and her husband John Lionato in 2019.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Monday, September 13, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home
481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church, 301 Ann St., Newburgh, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
