Ruth Elizabeth Kenison (nee Burlock), 72, of Newburgh, NY, passed away on July 22, 2023. Born on July 27, 1950, in Berlin, NH, Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Family was of utmost importance to Ruth, and she cherished the time spent together with her loved ones. Friday nights were dedicated to family dinners, where laughter filled the air, creating precious memories that will be forever treasured.

Ruth had a passion for knitting and was known for her exceptional skills. She poured her heart into creating beautiful sweaters, hats, gloves, and baby outfits, leaving behind a legacy of warmth and love. Each piece she crafted will be cherished and serve as a reminder of her talent and the love she shared.

Ruth leaves behind her beloved husband, Jerry Kenison, and their children, Ryan Kenison, Eileen Kenison, Amy Mackenzie, Dana Kenison (Brian Mennerich), and Jerry Kenison Jr. She was a doting grandmother to Cody Kenison, Tyler Kenison, and Lyla Mackenzie. Ruth is also survived by her sister, Sandra Kenison and her lifelong friend, Nessie Ellish. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wilford (Pete) and Jeannette Burlock, and her sister, Martha Caruso.

A memorial service will be held at a later date in Jefferson, NH, to honor and remember Ruth's life.

Ruth Elizabeth Kenison will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her love for family, laughing, and her warm presence will forever live on in the hearts of those she touched.
