Sally Madeline Kotch, 93, formerly of Edwardsville, P.A. passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023.Born in Kingston, P.A. on January 28, 1930 to the late Thomas H. Jenkins and Sarah (James)Jenkins. A graduate of Edwardsville High School, class of 1947, where she developed manylifelong friendships.Sally married her beloved husband, Frank John Kotch, in Kingston, P.A. and often said howblessed she was to share her life with Frank until his passing in 2013. Her favorite days werespent with family, traveling, gardening, baking, sewing, and observing nature. She lovedwatching sunrises, sunsets, snow falling, autumn leaves changing colors and the spring flowersblooming.Sally lived a life of dedication to family, faith, and volunteering. She was a loving mother,grandmother, and great grandmother who felt joy in caring for everyone. She volunteered forMeals on Wheels for 22 years, played her piano, sung her hymns and said "God Bless You" toeveryone she met. She was devoted to the church, especially the Green Street Baptist Chapel inEdwardsville, P.A. In recent years, her daily walks with her beloved dog, Lucas, were thehighlight of her day.Sally is survived by her brother, Stuart Jenkins and wife Carol of Rochester, NY; sister-in-law,Nancy Jenkins of Honey Brook, PA; daughter, Sally Santo and husband Joseph of New Windsor,NY; daughter-in-law, Elyse Kotch of Emerson, NJ; son-in-law, William Cors of Hackettstown, NJ.Grandchildren, Joseph Santo (wife Jonelle), Ryan Santo (wife Colleen), Kerry Eschbacher(husband Kevin), Mary Cors, and Madeline Kotch. Great grandchildren, Joseph Santo, JamesSanto, Cali Eschbacher, Taylor Eschbacher, Emily Eschbacher, Kylie Santo and Bryce Santo.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Frank John Kotch (2013);brother, Reverend Thomas H Jenkins (2021); son, Frank John Kotch Jr (2016); daughter, BarbaraCors (2021).At her request, there will be no viewing hours and a private Memorial Service will be held at alater date.In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Green Street Baptist Chapel, 25 Green St.,Edwardsville, PA 18704 or Meals on Wheels in memory of Sally.
