Sandra E. Bizzell-Hall

January 9, 1950 ~ February, 28, 2026

With deep love and grateful hearts, we celebrate the beautiful life of Sandra Bizzell-Hall, a devoted wife, cherished mother, proud grandmother, and treasured friend who brought warmth and light to everyone blessed to know her.

Sandra was born on January 9, 1950, in Newburgh, New York, the firstborn child of Eugene Bizzell and Florence Henderson-Bizzell. As the eldest of six siblings—Eugene, Patricia, Paul, Regina, and Kurt Bizzell—she grew up surrounded by family, laughter, and the vibrant spirit of the community she loved so dearly.

Raised in Newburgh, Sandra's presence became part of the heartbeat of the city. From Water Street, Grand Street, Johnson Street to Fullerton Avenue and Gidney Avenue near NFA, the memories of her kindness, laughter, and generous spirit still shine brightly. Those who knew her remember a woman whose warmth could brighten any room and whose love for family and friends was endless.

Sandra attended Newburgh Free Academy and proudly graduated with the Class of 1968. She later began a long and meaningful career with Hudson Valley D.D.S.O, where she dedicated 34 years of compassionate service to others. Her work reflected who she was at her core—selfless, caring, and deeply committed to helping people. She retired in 2014, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and kindness.

In 1984, Sandra married the love of her life, Obadiah Hall. Together they built a life filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support. Their union was blessed with two wonderful children, Drakal and Amanda, who were the pride and joy of her life.

Sandra's greatest happiness came from her family. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Anissa, Dorel, Quinton, Quincy, Gabriel, and Grayson, each of whom brought immense joy to her heart. She poured love, wisdom, and encouragement into every generation of her family.

Those who knew Sandra will always remember her gentle spirit, compassionate heart, and radiant smile. She had a remarkable way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and loved. Whether offering a kind word, sharing laughter, or simply being present, Sandra's light touched countless lives.

Her life was a shining example of love, strength, and devotion. She showed her family what true longevity looks like—not only in years, but in the depth of love and the legacy she leaves behind.

Sandra's spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who love her. The lessons she taught, the love she gave, and the memories she created will continue to guide and uplift her family for generations to come.

Though she will be deeply missed, Sandra Bizzell-Hall's light will never fade. Her love remains, bright as sunshine, in every life she touched. ☀️
