Suzanna O'Brien (Sue) passed peacefully on September 25, 2025 at the age of 86 in Valley Cottage, NY.

Sue was born in Washington Heights, NY on June 30, 1939 to Patrick O'Brien and Suzanna Woods (formerly Suzanna O'Brien.) Sue had a brother, Patrick O'Brien who previously passed.

Sue was married to the late William O'Brien and has 4 children:  Suzanna, William (Bill), Patricia and her spouse Max.  Eileen O'Brien sadly passed away in 2014. Grandchildren: Brandon, Heather, William (Bill) Jr., Brian, Brenna, Megan, Paulie, Joey and a. great-grandchild, Brandon C.

Sue was born Roman Catholic and throughout her life was a strong advocate of volunteer work for the church she was instrumental in coordinating church functions. In addition, Sue was a homemaker, worked in retail sales, and was a licensed cosmetologist throughout the years. Sue loved to dance and was outgoing, she was always helping others. Her easy going personality, warm beautiful smile and fun loving spirit will be missed greatly.  Sue made many wonderful close friends and was always there for them as they were for her.

Services and burial are private with burial on October 3, 2025, at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Westchester County. A sanctuary light memorial to be held on Sunday, October 12th, 2025, at St. Paul's Catholic Church in Congers, NY.
