March 21, 1946 ~ March 8, 2026

Terrance James Berean of New Windsor, New York, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, at the age of 79 surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 21, 1946, and lived a life defined by service, compassion, and deep devotion to those he loved.

Terrance was a cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend whose warmth and generosity touched many lives. For more than 45 years, Terrance served the communities of the Hudson Valley as a dedicated occupational therapist. Throughout his long career, he cared deeply for his patients, helping countless individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence. His kindness, patience, and commitment to healing left a lasting impact on those he served.

Terrance also answered the call to serve his country. He was a proud member of the United States Army and served during the Vietnam War. Following his active duty, he continued his commitment to service in the Army Reserves, eventually attaining the rank of Captain. Terrance held a deep love for his country and remained a steadfast supporter of numerous veteran organizations throughout his life.

Outside of his professional and military service, Terrance found great joy in time spent with family and friends. He had a passion for searching for collectibles and antiques, always enjoying the thrill of discovering something unique and the stories behind the items he found. Terrance requested that those who knew him remember him with a smile and celebrate a life well lived. Terrance will be laid to rest during a private family ceremony. His legacy of service, kindness, and love will live on in the many lives he touched.
