Theresa Bertero Copeland went home to be with the Lord on February 24, 2018 at Westchester Medical Center. The daughter of the late John Bertero and Dorothy Czubak, she was born September 18, 1954 in Newburgh. Theresa was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and was a member of the Goodwill Church in Montgomery. She is survived by her fiancé Douglas Lee Geiger.Left to cherish her memory are her children, Devon and Miguel Cabreja, Heather Copeland, Ashley Copeland, and Vernon Copeland III. She loved her grandchildren very much, Tyler Mitchell, Jaden Cabreja, Chiloh Copeland, Aiden Cabreja, Maliyah Copeland, Payton Cabreja and newest addition Vernon Copeland; her sisters Dori Dooley, Patty Detoro, Christine Bertero; and brothers John and Jimmy Bertero.A Funeral Service will be held at 1PM on Tuesday, March 13 at The Goodwill Church, 2135 Route 208, Montgomery, NY.
