Thomas J. Pacenza, Sr.

Thomas J. Pacenza Sr entered into rest peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on February 27, 2023. He was born on May 26, 1943. He was 79.
He was blessed to spend nearly 60 years with the love of his life, Carolyn. He is survived by his three loving children, Jill and husband Jon, Tucker and his fiancé Debbie, and Christopher and wife Tammy; two grandchildren, who were his most valued treasures, grandson Thomas III and his wife Meagan, and his full of life granddaughter, Haley. He was so proud of their decisions in life to enlist into the military, both are serving overseas. He is also survived by his brothers: Bob, Rick and his wife Deby, and Jimmy and his wife Gladys; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents, Patrick and Marion; his brothers Patrick Jr. and Peter; and his sister, Candy. He was an avid New York Yankees fan and a life member of Vails Gate Fire Department. He spent over 40 years in the volunteer fire service and was a past President of the Orange County Volunteer Fireman's Association in 1991.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, March 3 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh, with a firematic service at 6:30 p.m.In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can to made to the Alzheimer's foundation or a charity of choice.
