Victoria Orrico passed away on Thursday, February 11, 2021 in Warwick, NY. Victoria was born on February 6, 1922 and had just celebrated her 99th birthday. Victoria, or Aunt Vicki as she was known by all, will be remembered for her amazing Italian family dinners, her delicious cream puffs and sharing stories about growing up in a large family. Although Victoria never had children of her own, she was like a second mother to her many nephews and nieces and was always available to her siblings when needed. Up until April of 2020, Victoria and her twin sister, Rose, were one of the oldest living identical twins in the area. Because the twins were so identical, family, friends, teachers and later in life, healthcare providers, would often confuse them. They both enjoyed tricking people by swapping places and getting away with it when they were younger and loved to tell stories about these antics. Victoria's passing marks the end of a wonderful family that lived in Newburgh for the better part of their lives and she will be missed by many.
Victoria is survived by her nephew, Vince Coluccio and wife Marie of Westtown, NY; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Vita (Aglione) Graziano, her husband, Steven Orrico and her beloved dog, Freckles. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Vincent, Joseph, Frank, Salvatore, John, Josephine and her identical twin, Rose and her niece, Marie Woodill.
Visitation will be held from 10 - 11 am on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Brooks Funeral Home, Newburgh, NY, with a service following. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor, NY 12553. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Hospital at www.stjude.org.
