Virginia Pfeuffer, daughter of Bernice and George Criley, was born on July 16, 1937, in Butler County, PA.
She was a member of Sacred Heart Church for the last 20 years.
Virginia is Survived by her sister Judy Schnur, her companion Angelo Mascioli, her children; James Myers, Regina Mami, Virginia Lamanna, Christine Lindland, LeeAnne LeMin and Judi Lugano, 10 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She was a devoted mother. She was a very giving person; she helped many people get a new start in life. She was a girl scout leader, along with a team leader at technical Traffic in New City, NY. She was also a volunteer for the SPCA. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed writing short stories with the writers' group in Cornwall. Everyone enjoyed her farm life stories. She was also a member of St. Paul's Church in Congers, NY for 40 years. She also participated in their yearly fundraiser which included a Broadway Show of acting, dancing, and tap dancing. She really enjoyed volunteering.
Visitation will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Friday, September 20 from 4 - 7 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Church on Saturday, September 21 at 10 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Virginia's name be made to Hospice of Orange and Sullivan County, 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY 12550
