Warren H. Canfield

Warren H. Canfield, Sr. of New Bern, N.C., formerly of Newburgh, NY entered into rest on November 16, 2024, and was reunited with his wife, Carolyn.

The oldest son of the late Warren James Canfield and Shirley Minah Smith, he was born on February 7, 1943.

He was an avid golfer and sports fan.  He was often seen wearing his baseball cap and tape measure eagerly looking for a project to work on or something to build.

Warren is survived by his children Carol Diehl (Jeffrey) and Warren Canfield, Jr. (Candice); grandchildren Kelly Soriano (Julio), Zachary and Brandon Canfield, and great grandchildren, Benjamin and Gabriel Soriano.  He is also survived by his brothers Ken Canfield (Ann) and Jerry Canfield (Susan), sister Shirley Talmadge; brother-in-law, Raymond Caston (Shirley), and sisters-in-law, Georgia Baird (Jack) and Dorothy Rose, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is predeceased by his brothers, James Canfield and Donald Canfield; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Canfield and Delores Lukach; brothers-in-law Frank Talmadge, Harry Caston, Arthur Caston, James Rose and John Lukach.

A private graveside service will be held for the immediate family.
