William "Billy" Leo Hulse Sr.

William Leo Hulse Sr. passed away peacefully on December 2, 2021 at the age of 69 at St Luke's Hospital in Newburgh. William was born to the late George and Helen Hulse on July 21, 1952.
William enlisted into the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War. He married the love of his life, Christina (nee Worden) on July 29, 1973, and together they built a loving and happy marriage for 48 wonderful years. Together they welcomed and cherished their children Michele, Melissa, Rebecca and William Leo Hulse Jr.
William was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan, an outdoorsman, as well as a mechanic, but most of all he was devoted to Christina. He was a family man through and through, and loved being a grandpa and a papa.
William is survived by his loving wife Christina at home; his daughters Michele (Robert), Melissa (Michael), and Rebecca (Christopher); his son William Leo Hulse Jr. (Brandi); two brothers Robert (Flaviana) and Warren; and he was the beloved grandpa to 15 grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, one sister, as well as his grandson, Anthony Kozlowski IV.
Visitation will be on Monday December 6, 2021 from 4 pm to 7 pm at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh, with a celebration of Williams life starting at 7 pm. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The family has honorably and faithfully entrusted funeral arrangements to his nephew Christopher Worden in coordination with the staff of Brooks Funeral Home.
