William C. Wendel Jr.Wallkill, NYMarch 20, 1957 - December 15, 2018William C. Wendel Jr. of Wallkill, NY entered eternal rest Saturday, December 15, 2018. He was 61 years young. William is the son of William C. Wendel Sr. and the late Georgeine (Ewald) Wendel. He was born on March 20, 1957 in New York, NY. William worked as a sales manager for Gillette Creamery for 18 years. He was also a member of the Mid-Hudson USBC for 40 years. William was a loving father, brother, son and friend; who touched the lives of everyone he met. He was an avid bowler, golfer, Giants and Yankees fan. He found joy in spending his days full of laughter. He will be truly missed. William is survived by his children Ashley Wendel of Stillwater, NJ, Bryan Wendel, Kyle Wendel of Wallkill, and his loving companion Pamela Spreer and her daughters Nicole Fallon (Matthew) and Patricia Spreer; siblings Arthur, Richard and his wife Lisa, Robert and his wife Liz and Georgeine Phipps and her husband Stephen; and many nieces and nephews. William is predeceased by his wife Rita Wendel and his mother Georgeine Wendel. Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Wednesday, December 19 at Brooks Funeral Home. Mass will take place at Sacred Heart Church at 10am Thursday, December 20 with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
