Zulma G. Caballero

May 28, 1944 ~ April 29, 2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Zulma G. Caballero, who left us peacefully on April 29, 2025 at the age of 80 years young. A devoted mother grandmother, sister and friend, Zulma touched the lives of all who knew her with warmth, compassion and unwavering love.

Born in Yauco, Puerto Rico, she spent her life nurturing those around her with grace and kindness.  Her strength, wisdom, and generous heart were the foundation of our family, and her legacy will live on in every life she touched.

She is survived by her sisters, brothers, one son Israel Marrero, one daughter Sandra Y. Marrero and her furbaby Princess along with many others who were blessed to know her.  She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and celebrate her remarkable life along with her immediate family.

A visitation will be held on Thursday May 8th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at Brooks Funeral Home located at 481 Gidney Avenue, Newburgh, NY 12550.

A funeral service will be held at Brooks Funeral Home at 10:00am on Friday May 9th.

A burial will follow at St. Raymonds Cemetery located at 2600 Lafayette Avenue
