Angelo Pace Jr was born in Mount Vernon NY on May 9, 1952, and has recently passed away on February 24, 2022. Angelo is predeceased by his parents Angelo & Antoinette Pace. Angelo leaves behind his children, Matthew and Andrea, and his grandchildren, Alto and Gianna of Florida, who he truly loved. Angelo also has many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
Angelo's loving sister, Barbara and her husband Chris Dursley have cared for and had wonderful fun times with Angelo for the past 35 years. Barbara was his advocate for his care in his fight against ALS which finally he had succumbed to after a bout of COVID which led to further health issues and tragically his demise.
In the past years, Angelo celebrated his life everyday leaving people always thankful and full of wonder, as we marveled at his upbeat attitude making the best of what he did have in life. Angelo always had a smile on his face, which he gave away freely, often leaving those he encountered with his smile.
Angelo was a true sports fan and loved the Yankees. He graduated Mt Vernon High School where he was actively involved in sports, music and singing. He not only played sports but he was exceptional in everything he did, which in our hearts made his ALS even more tragic.
Angelo certainly left us with a life message to appreciate every day and enjoy the company of other people and to make them feel good about the life they have, as it is the only one you get to live.
We will miss you Angelo, you will always be in our hearts. Thank you for the life lessons you have taught us.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 27 at Brooks Funeral Home from 2-5 p.m.
