Benjamin F. Lambert, a retired Patent Attorney for Johnson & Johnson Pharmaceuticals and 21 year resident of the area, entered into rest on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at home. He was 83. Son of the late Benjamin and Willie Mae (Bronner) Lambert, he was born March 6, 1933 in Lowell, Massachusetts. Benjamin received his Bachelor's (Boston University) and Master's (Brandeis University) Degrees in Chemistry, and his Juris Doctorate Degree from Seton Hall University Law School. He is survived by his partner of 34 years, Raymond Baubles, at home; his sister, Laura Figures of Fayetteville, NC; sister-in-law Albertina Lambert of Riverside, CA; and nephews, Jose Figures, Bruce Lambert and Brian Lambert. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers, Harold, Sam and John Lambert. Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm on Sunday, April 24 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, April 25 at the funeral home, with Reverend Charles Magistro officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Newburgh.
