Carol Ann Hicks, also known as CA, entered into rest on Sunday, October 9th 2022. She was 79 years old. She was a long time resident of New Windsor.
Carol Ann was born July 29th 1943, in Manhattan NY. She was the first born daughter to John & Margaret Grada. She had three loving sisters: Jeannette, Charlotte and Jacquie. Carol Ann also had a long time best friend Gail (John) Greer of 50 years.

On October 15th 1962, she married Ronnie L Hicks while he was enlisted in the US Navy. Ronnie predeceased his beloved wife in 2016. They had two children, Rhonda L Hicks of North Port, FL and a son John G Hicks of Newburgh, NY. John sadly passed away on June 21st 2022. Carol Ann was a long time bookkeeper.

She is survived by her daughter Rhonda Hicks, grandson RJ Hicks, granddaughter Alyssa Hicks and partner Scott Haugland, daughter in law Jill Hicks, sisters Jeannette Schoener (Jimmy), Charlotte Burdett (Joe), Jacquie Pietrodangelo (Dominic); brother in law Keith Hicks (Lynn), best friend Gail(John)Greer; and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Services will be held at Brooks Funeral Home on Saturday October 15th 2022 from 2pm-5pm.
