Ella Marie Donnelly, age 100, passed away at home on July 26, 2012. Born September 6, 1911 in Elizabeth, NJ to the late J. Joseph and Emma Rieger Miller. Marie moved to the City of Newburgh in October 1911. Marie married Charles J. Donnelly in November 1933 at St. Patrick's Church in Newburgh. He predeceased her in 1964. Two brothers, Franklin J. (Beef) and John J. as well as sister Elizabeth Hemingway also predeceased her. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Marie and husband, Robert Miller of the Town of Newburgh, three grandchildren: Gregg Robert and wife, Karen Miller of Montgomery, NY, Scott Charles Miller of New Windsor, NY and Jennifer Marie Novak of Haymarket, VA; four great-grandchildren: Matthew Robert and Ashley Gale Miller of Montgomery, NY, Michael Charles and Robert Donnelly Novak of Haymarket, VA. She also leaves many beloved nephews, nieces- great and great-great and cousins. A member of Christ Lutheran Church since 1940; Marie served on the Girl Scout Council and the Altar Guild. A 100th Birthday Celebration was held last September attended by family and friends. Thanks to Willcare, Hospice, and Lili who comforted and supported Mom and the family. Memorial Funeral Services will be held at 11 am on Monday, July 30, at Christ Lutheran Church, 186 Fullerton Ave. Newburgh. Inurnment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
